About Darryl Hill
Darryl has been teaching music since 1981 in the greater New England Area originally in the Dick Johnson Music School and, eventually created the first Lessons Delivered to your Home concept that was eagerly accepted in the south shore area of Massachusetts.
Darryl has taught many students that have gone on to become teachers themselves or music professionals. He also has studied with many teachers as well from Mike Ihde of Berklee College of Music on Studio Guitar work. Alex deGrassi, Ed Gerhard, Chris Proctor on Fingerstyle Guitar work. Jonathan "Juanito" Pascual on Flamenco Guitar. Presently Darryl is studying with Jordan Rudess on Piano and advanced Synthesizer programming and Technique.
Darryl has also utilized his extensive knowledge of Blues Guitar from a 2 year national tour with the Late Luther Snakeboy Johnson working the same circuits as Muddy Waters and many others during the early 70's and then later winning a position in the USAF "Tops in Blue" USO Show.
Darryl has worked as a session guitarist in many recording studios and has become a studio owner as well in 2003 and has since performed on and produced 3 completed CD's that are available on CDBABY, iTunes, Rhapsody, too many to mention them all.
Darryl is also a bandleader of the Darryl Hill Blues Band a 6 piece Show Blues Band that plays throughout all of New England
